The Professional
Association of Valencian Illustrators (APIV), a non-profit
organisation, has the goal of representing, managing, promoting
and defending the common interests of professional illustrators,
most of whom are independent professionals.
In order to
do this, APIV has developed
several action programmes which allow it to work effectively towards
the following objectives:
-
To establish
networks for professional and entrepreneurial collaboration
that facilitate the articulation of better commercial systems.
This is to be done by the joining together of different efforts
geared towards common goals in the entrepreneurial and professional
sectors of cultural creation in the visual arts, specifically
with regards to illustration.
